STK DONATES KILT TO WOUNDED WARRIOR

StumpTown Kilts hopes you all had very happy holiday!! Thank you for being a part of STK and allowing us to be part of your life. We have taken this occasion to present a very special gift to a new member of the STK Nation, Army SSG Earl Granville.

We were contacted by Operation Ward 57 (operationward57.org) for their Wounded Warrior Project. Operation Ward 57 supports critically injured soldiers, their families and those who aid in their recovery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and Wounded Warriors at Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington State. Earl was injured by a roadside bomb in Zormat, Afghanistan while on his third deployment leaving his right leg severely injured. He lost his left leg and two of his mates. After several months of inpatient recovery at Walter Reed Earl began participating in races and events to show his support for those in uniform.

We have proudly donated a StumpTown Kilt to Earl in his very own camo that he specifically requested through the Wounded Warrior Project. Special thanks to Brittney Hamilton for introducing us to Earl and thank you Earl for all you have done. We would also like to thank all those who protect us and all those who protect them, like Operation Ward 57.

And thank you STK Nation, no matter your beliefs this time of year there is one important thing to remember, take time to do something nice for someone else, that is what this time of year is about.
