I wanted to know if you can make a custom kilt. I would like to get a kilt in Tartan Colors.
Answer
We do special orders but it depends on approval of our contract sewer (cs). With a tartan, it is very time consuming matching the lines in the plaid and we do not guarantee this. We also recommend a 65/35 poly/cotton twill but whichever fabric you are pursuing should not be over 10oz and must be at the least 60" in length. Yards vary by sizing. There is also a wait time that varies depending on where we are with our sewing orders. This is a heavy maufacturing time for us and we sew in alternating blocks of size/length and Men's/Women's so the wait time could be as long as 4 months+.
